The Vesak Poya Celebration 2025 was held on 18th May 2025 at the London Buddhist Vihara, marking the sacred triple commemoration of the Birth, Enlightenment, and Passing Away of Lord Buddha. This special event was jointly sponsored by the D. S. Senanayake College OBA UK and the Visakha Vidyalaya PPA UK, symbolising a meaningful collaboration between two proud Sri Lankan alumni communities in the UK.
The evening was highlighted by a profound Dhamma Sermon, which offered valuable spiritual insights and reminded us of the timeless teachings of the Buddha. It was a serene and reflective gathering that brought together members of both associations, their families, and well-wishers to honour this most significant day in the Buddhist calendar.
